In 1997, with a freshly obtained university degree in Advertising & Public Relations and
with the uncertainty emerging from a closing period of my life, I decided to pursue a career
in the even less certain world -at the time- of
Digital Marketing Communications. I was
immediately sucked into the digital wave to the extent that it
became the single and most
relevant decision in my professional life and it has defined everything that happened in
the subsequent career steps I have taken. During these years I have been lucky enough to
work in creating a wide diversity of projects and campaigns for brands and companies such
as
Danone, Nike, ING, Atrápalo, La Caixa or BBVA, and thus growing as a professional in the
ever-changing transformation of the digital media.
In all this maturing process I have learnt a whole lot of things. Among them is the ability
of the digital media to transcend itself and to expand into the real world, to the users, the
consumers, to people and their ongoing lives. This learning has been crucial to me: it’s turned
me into a professional able
to engage communications from an integrated and holistic point of view,
something which has become essential to address any relevant project, campaign or business solution.
It has allowed me
to manage teams with a wide variety of different backgrounds both from advanced digital
world or from conventional media. Ultimately it has also given me the opportunity to produce work mixing
the best of both in pursue of better results and efficiencies.
